How often should electrical panels be inspected for safety?

Have your electrical panel inspected every 3–5 years. If your home is 40+ years old, schedule more often. Book sooner if you see tripped breakers, flickering lights, or smell burning. During an inspection, we check panel labeling, grounding and bonding, and test GFCI/AFCI protection, then recommend fixes. We serve Austin, Round Rock, and nearby communities.

  • Before adding an EV charger or large appliance.
  • After water damage or DIY wiring changes.
  • When outlets feel warm or breakers won’t reset.
