My reason for wanting to replace the thermostats was to get the ability to better control of temperatures in the rooms we were actually using by using wireless remote sensors. I called Ultimate (who I had used for years), and Chris came and showed me some stats by Eccobee with remote sensors. I liked them, but didn't have him install them right away because I wanted to do more research on my own. I later saw some at Costco and purchased two (for upstairs and downstairs), assuming I could install them myself. After all, how hard could it be to reconnect a few wires? Answer: more difficult than I thought. During the process of removing the downstairs thermostat, I broke a wire. Fortunately I still had upstairs heat. I called Ultimate after hours to discuss my problem. It was not a true emergency, since we had upstairs heat as well as a downstairs fireplace. But Chris came the next day. I've regularly used Ultimate for semi-annual HVAC maintenance for years, and Chris has been my service tech for the last few years. I have enjoyed working with Chris, and I have developed a lot of confidence, both in his expertise and his work ethic. He was able to get my new stats up and running quickly. He walked me through all the setup including connection to my wifi network. He's a very competent person and takes his job seriously, as well as carefully listens to customer needs.

The technician Diamond sent out was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They explained what was wrong with my AC unit and how to avoid having to go through fixing it again, and even offered me financing as well to help pay for it. They also have a member service program for reducing the cost of service calls, guaranteeing a technician to come out within 24 hours without any extra charges for weekends or holidays and regular servicing of the whole heating and cooling system including filter replacement. Such a great deal, I will not have to shop around for an HVAC repair service ever again! So Thankful for my neighbor Amy for the recommendation!

Andy arrived within the window of our appointment time. He was courteous and got right to work doing the spring air conditioning check on my system. He was thorough and patiently answered some questions I had. When he discovered one facet of my A/C system that was failing, he showed me photos he'd taken and cleare eely explained my options. I will ask for Andy in the future. He seemed to have my best interests at heart. On June 4th, 2025 I was fortunate to have Derik and Jonah arrive promptly to install my new air conditioning and heating systems. I had a few questions and they were thorough and patient as they explained step by step how the installation would go. They were knowledgeable and professional. When they had to come in my house, they put shoe covers on even though I told him that wasn't necessary. I felt like I was in good hands and that the system was competently installed. My experience with diamond has been top notch. That hasn't been the case with other HVAC companies I've used in the valley. I also want to mention the plumbing technician, Richard or Robert, unfortunately I can't recall his name, who arrived yesterday. He flushed my hot water tank,did a plumbing inspection and offered some helpful advice during the inspection. I learned that it's not always wise to use a commercial drain clog product because they have acid in them and that can etch your pipes. He made a recommendation for a product that I intend to buy. This is the 4th or fifth employee I've met from Diamond, and they've all been very respectful and helpful.

Kyle was very thorough and efficient in doing our Fall HVAC maintenance. He explained everything very well and was very personable and professional.

Excellent service provided by Anthony! Our central air stopped working on Sunday, a very hot day. I called Diamond Heating and Cooling around 1:30 PM and they were able to dispatch a technician between 7 - 10 PM. I received notifications by text and email that Anthony was on his way and he called me to let me know he was en route. He arrived before 8:30 PM. He was professional and courteous. He took time to explain what he found, fixed our central air needs, and offered advice on the which air filter to use and why. We are so thankful for his expertise. We signed up for their HVAC Maintenance Plan. I was planning to do this prior to our emergency and so glad I did. I really like to detailed invoice I received after the work was performed. I highly recommend Diamond Heating and Cooling!
