General plumbing service you can trust in Arlington, VA

Jason Rowles was knowledgeable & worked 3 hours non-stop to install new hot water heater. Efficient & friendly. Top marks!

Joe serviced my tankless water heater efficiently and was very patient with my million questions.

Our sump pump is getting older and I was concerned it was making too much noise. Mr. Jensen did his best to research the age of our equipment but could not find a way to do that. He did however assure me the sump pump sounded totally normal.

As always, the service was excellent. The fact that they travel with much of the equipment and spare parts they will potentially need is a plus. In addition to HVAC inspection, today it was a sump pump replacement: Did they have the replacement part on the truck? Yes, indeed. Job done!

Andre and the other technician did a great job installing the new furnace hot water heater and air conditioner. I appreciated the prep and care taken in my home as they carried out the old and brought in the new furnace and hot water heater. Andre took the time to answer what overall questions I had and kept me up to date on the installation progress.

Efficient and friendly diagnosis of worn tankless water heater part causing GFCI to trip. Waiting for replacement part, but so far this is the same great service as when Parrish replaced our traditional water heater in 2016.

Danny Shoop was "Fantastic" ..checked and found sump pump was fine! That the stench came from the dryer!! He also disconnected the dishwasher's water drain and electricity. When others didn't do....gave some good tips as well

Joe did an awesome job, as always. He is an excellent problem solver. Joe found out what was causing low water pressure in the house and that the sump pump was not working properly.

Installation of new gas water heater went well. Clarence Boyd & assistant were quick, efficient, and very professional. The job was completed in less time than anticipated; it was clean job and our new water heater looks & works well.

Parrish was the first company out of several who advertise 24/7 service who (a) actually answered the phone when I called at 4:47 p.m., and (b) who actually agreed to come out that same evening to try and unblock the main sewer line from my house. The technician they sent, Danny, drove 83 miles to my home and then worked till after 10p.m. trying to clear the blockage. Evidence from the cutter on his snake suggested the line was ruptured where the vinyl from the house meets the cast iron pipe leading the last few feet to the main sewer in the street. Not unreasonably, he was unable to fix it there and then, but returned the next day with a crew who located the precise point of blockage in our front yard. Taking care not to damage irrigation system, lines, they dug down 10 feet to reveal the pipe union which had experienced a failure common on pipework like ours of around 40 years of age. They replaced the faulty pipe with new vinyl, installed a new washout plug to facilitate access to the cast iron sewer pipe (which was showing the usual signs of age), filled the hole and replaced the sod that they had carefully removed, with a final application of seed and straw. I was very impressed with the entire operation, with Dannys attention to customer satisfaction, and his special consideration for my handicapped wife, and the can do attitude of the whole crew. I appreciated, too, the insights they shared regarding sewer technology, and their recommendations for mitigation of the damage caused by the sewage back-up as well as for ongoing maintenance of the sewer line. I would not hesitate to recommend Parrish to anyone with similar problems to ours.

Very professional and did not give me a hard sell for a new hot water heater.

I discovered my hot water heater wasn’t working close to 5 pm. I called Parrish and they were able to get a plumber out the next day. In less than 24 hours I had a new hot water heater and life was back to normal. I am very pleased with the company and the technician.
