Why Does My Smart Light Switch Not Work After Installation?

Most smart switches fail after installation due to wiring, compatibility, or setup issues. Many models require a neutral wire. Miswired line/load or traveler leads in 3‑way circuits can stop power. Some smart dimmers need a minimum load or compatible LED bulbs. Power may be off at the breaker. Wi‑Fi pairing or app configuration may be incomplete.
