Can I replace an electrical outlet myself safely and correctly?

You can replace a simple outlet, but the safest, code-correct result comes from a licensed electrician. Our team handles permits, code-compliant installations, load calculations, and final testing. We install GFCI outlets in wet areas; upgrading to GFCI in your kitchen or bathroom is a great idea. If you notice buzzing, burning odors, shocks, warm outlets, or frequent trips, stop and call.

  • Turn off the breaker and verify power is off with a tester.
  • Use GFCI in kitchens/bathrooms.
  • Stop if wires are burnt or aluminum. <br/>
