What should I do if my water heater is leaking from the bottom?

Turn off the cold-water supply and the power or gas to the heater, then call us. A leak at the bottom often means tank failure or a T&P (temperature & pressure) valve issue. We service all makes & models and provide inspections that check leaks, corrosion, T&P valve, and anode rod. “Water leaks around the base of the water heater” is a repair trigger. If replacement is needed, select gas or electric units are available for only $1,975 with a 12-year warranty (limited-time offer). We serve Flower Mound and nearby cities.

Quick steps:

  • Shut off water and power/gas.
  • Avoid draining if the area is unsafe.
  • Call for an inspection.
